Retail Sales Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join the team in Reigate who can provide exceptional service to our customers in our store.

What’s the purpose of this role?
You will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best possible service each time they visit the store and on our website.
Salary/Hours
Basic salary is dependent on experience.
3-4 days a week including some Saturday shifts. Hours – 9.30am – 5pm
Who are we?
Ellis Scott is a major part of the local community providing high quality uniforms to over 20 schools in the area both from our store in Reigate and via our secure website.
What are the responsibilities of this role?
- You will work closely with Management to provide the best possible service for our schools and customers
- Providing a supervisor role when required
- Assisting in the maintenance of the website to ensure all information in up-to-date
- Processing online orders, and dealing with returns
- Controlling stock levels, and ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations
- Providing expert customer service within the shop and online together with knowledgeable advice re uniform requirements and sizing
- Liaising with customers and schools to develop a professional and efficient service to include school visits
- Dealing with customer enquiries in-store, online and by phone
- Assisting in the maintenance of standards on the shop floor for all displays and merchandise
- Replenishing stock levels when needed, making sure the full-size range is on the shop floor where possible
Who are we looking for?
- An experienced individual
- With retail experience would be beneficial
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills
- Enthusiastic team players
